What happens if I buy the wrong ticket?
No worries, you can easily change it when you come to Luna Park!
Just pay the price difference on the day, or we’ll issue you a credit voucher (depending on your circumstances).
I purchased a Peak Ticket, but now its Off Peak ... can I still attend?
Absolutely! Come see us at the Ticket Box, & we’ll happily fix you up with the correct ticket.
When are the next Peak Periods?
The next Peak Periods are:
- Friday 28 June 2013 to Monday 15 July 2013 inclusive
- Friday 20 September to Monday 7 October 2013 inclusive
I’ve bought a ticket, but can't make it …what do I do?
No worries, your ticket is not linked to a specific date. You are more than welcome to visit at a later date.
It's raining, can I still visit the Park?
A little bit of rain usually just means that the rides queues are shorter, so come on down! Generally, almost all of the attractions will continue to operate during wet weather. We also have plenty of indoor rides & activities like Coney Island if you still want to visit but would like to stay dry.
During really bad weather, the entire Park or parts of it may be closed. Check here for latest info and opening times.
Why do the rides have height restrictions?
Ride restrictions are for the riders own safety. Unfortunately these rules cannot be bent under any circumstances. (Note: Rider height is measured with shoes on)
I'm a Yellow Rider, can I purchase a Green Rider ticket if I only want to go on the Green Unlimited Rides?
Ride Passes and Tickets are priced and sold according to your height (measured with shoes on). Lower height rides passes cannot be purchased for individuals who are Yellow and Green Riders. E.g. A Yellow Rider cannot purchase a Green Rider ticket, a Green Rider cannot purchase a Red Rider ticket.
My child is less than 85cm tall, can they still go on rides?
Yes! They can go on the Carousel (in a carriage) and the Ferris Wheel free of charge with a paying adult.
I'm a parent, can we just buy one wristband and share it to take the kids on the rides?
Each individual that wishes to go on any rides must purchase a ticket. Wristbands cannot be shared. Accompanying Adult tickets are available for purchase in the Park if you wish to take the kids on any rides, and are sold at a discounted rate.
Can I accompany more than one child on a ride?
Yes! Luna Park operates what we like to call Kid Swap. Kid Swap is available for Accompanying Adult Pass Holders who are accompanying more than one child. When there are only two seats per car, not all of you will fit on the ride at once. Kid Swap allows you to accompany each child on consecutive ride cycles, without the need to line up twice. You can Kid Swap at Dodgem City and Tumble Bug.
How do I Kid Swap?
Simply ask the Host at the turnstile! They will arrange for your child who is riding second to wait safely within the holding area and at the end of the ride, you’ll be able to swap kids. The child who has already ridden will be able to wait within the holding area while the second child enjoys the ride with you! For more information about Kid Swap; ask any one of our friendly Team Members.
Do I need to print my eTicket?
Yes. If you have purchased online, you must print & bring along your eTicket
