Luna Park in the Dark
Luna Park is turning off over 30,000 lights - ride rollercoasters by starlight!
Luna Park Sydney has been lighting up Sydney Harbour for over 87 years. Experience our heritage-listed amusement park in a new light at Luna Park in the Dark.
Throughout the Park will be roving performers and characters, bars, hot chocolate carts, roving popcorn and light-up fairy-floss.
Lights out 6PM! We’re turning off over 30,000 lights in the Park and offering Guests a chance to ride rollercoasters by starlight.
Purchase your unlimited rides pass for Luna Park in the Dark here, for use from 5PM on event nights.

NEED TO KNOW
Guests will see iconic locations throughout the Park and Sydney harbour in a new light. We’ll be offering extended operating hours for these selected dates until 10pm.
Experience unlimited rides all night, specialty food offerings, roaming entertainment and street performers.
Enter from 5pm to secure this special event price of $50, and see the iconic lights power down from 6pm nightly.
THE FINE PRINT
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Standard Luna Park Ticket Terms and Conditions apply. The event date your ticket is valid is not transferrable.
- Entry to Luna Park in the Dark is free, with a ticket required for access to rides only
- This is an all-ages event.
- Entry to Luna Park will be via the iconic Luna Park face or Luna Park Carpark only (from 5PM on event dates).
- Park is open before 5PM on each event date, however this special event ticket (discounted rate) is valid from 5PM only. If you’d like to attend the Park all day, please purchase a standard Unlimited Rides Pass for the event date you want to visit.
- Annual Pass Holders are welcome to attend this event using their valid Annual Pass.
- Flexi-pass Holders can book their visit and attend Luna Park on Luna Park in the Dark event dates.
- Luna Park Day Pass holders are welcome to attend Luna Park in the Dark should their Day Pass be valid on an event date – Extended Park hours apply to valid Day Pass tickets on event dates.
