Single Session Tickets Terms and Conditions

A Luna Park Sydney Session ticket is available for purchase, unless ‘SOLD OUT’, at the buyonline.lunaparksydney.com (‘online’). Products purchased from Luna Park Sydney will not be valid if on-sold. Any product purchased from a non-authorised point of sale (WeChat, Facebook, Gumtree etc.) will not be valid for redemption.

All Guests require a ticket to enter, except Guests who are under 2 years of age AND under 85 centimetres in height (as determined by Luna Park Sydney). 

Single Session Ticket Holders are not entitled to a $10 Food and Beverage Voucher or Single Sideshow Game.

CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE

IMPORTANT - Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you will be refused entry if you have attended a COVID-19 case location at the relevant date/time as indicated on any State Government website. See the NSW Government website for up-to-date case locations.

  1. A Luna Park Sydney Session ticket entitles the holder entry into Luna Park Sydney for the date and time specific session as indicated on the ticket only and is subject to the NSW Government approval for Luna Park Sydney to operate pursuant to COVID-19 restrictions.
  2. Tickets can only be purchased by the credit card holder. A valid residential address must be provided at the time of booking. PO Boxes or Locked Bags are not accepted as billing addresses.
  3. Valid personal information including first and last name, phone number and email address must be provided for each Session ticket holder at the time of purchase. This must match ID presented at entry
  4. Guests must agree to the Luna Park Sydney Health Declaration on behalf of all ticket holders in their transaction, to confirm they are not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, they have not been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19, have not travelled overseas in the last two weeks, are not awaiting COVID-19 test results or possess a temperature reading above 37.5 degrees Celsius. All guests are expected to exercise social distancing whilst in the Park. Patrons may be asked to leave for failure of social distancing compliance or the Health declaration.
  5. All guests regardless of age or willingness to access rides or attractions, will be required to purchase a valid Session ticket. All Guests who are 85 centimetres or over in height, as determined by Luna Park Sydney, will require a ticket for entry.
  6. A Session ticket is a unique ticket and is non-refundable to the extent permitted by law, and valid for the specific date and time indicated on the ticket only. A change of personal plans does not warrant a refund or exchange.
  7. Rides, services, entertainment and attractions may change operating hours, close temporarily, or may otherwise change or be discontinued without notice and without liability and does not entitle a Session ticket holder to any refund, credit or replacement.
  8. A Session ticket holder assumes the inherent risks associated with the operation of all rides and attractions and should read and obey all safety signage, instructions and rules.
  9. A Session ticket holder must abide by any rules and regulations applicable to Luna Park Sydney or to the use of the Session ticket as announced by Luna Park Sydney from time to time.
  10. The management reserves the right to refuse admission and, in such event, will not refund admission fee paid. Patrons in the venue are to have their ticket on their person at all times.
  11. A Session ticket is not transferable, cannot be sold, is not redeemable for cash and cannot be used with any other offer, discount or product. Additionally, Session tickets are void if altered or misused.
  12. Photocopies, photos and reproductions of a Session tickets will not be accepted.
  13. Access to the park will be granted no earlier than 30 minutes before the session times outlined on the Session tickets.
  14. North Sydney Pool access is not included in Session Tickets.
  15. If guests choose to use their unredeemed pre-purchased Unlimited Rides Passes tickets, Annual Passes or Multi Visit Passes for a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket, they forfeit access to North Sydney Pool.

 

ANNUAL PASS

Valid Annual Pass holders are required to book their visit to a specific session at the Luna Park Sydney website, to be able to use their Annual Passes to access a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. Annual Pass holders will be required to use their member number (found under the barcode on their Annual Pass card) to book their session time, after which they will receive a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket.

Annual Pass session ticket holders are not entitled to a $5 credit Voucher, $10 Food and Beverage Voucher or Single Sideshow Game.

To enter the park, Annual Pass holders will be required to present their Session ticket and their valid Annual Pass card. Guests who have lost, misplaced or forgotten their Annual Pass card on the day of their visit, will be required to have their card reprinted before entering the park, which will incur a $10 reprinting fee.

Annual Pass Holders are entitled to one (1) Session ticket per day. Only the Annual Pass holder will be able to use the Session ticket associated with their Annual Pass to enter the park. Session dates chosen before the Annual Pass expiry date. Session Tickets are non-transferrable.

Guests who hold unredeemed Annual Pass online tickets, are required to have their Annual Pass card created on site at the Luna Park Sydney Membership Desk before booking a Session ticket online. All Annual Pass holders must be present at the time of creation.

Guests who hold unredeemed Black Friday Annual Pass online tickets must have all guests present at one time to redeem Annual Pass cards.

All guests entering Luna Park Sydney must comply with the Session ticket Terms and Conditions, good social distancing from others & Luna Park Sydney Conditions of Entry and the Luna Park Sydney Health Declaration.

Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the Annual Pass associated with the Session ticket not be valid.

Annual Pass Session tickets presented by anyone other than the Annual Pass holder, may result in the Annual Pass being cancelled.

Annual Pass Birthday month ‘Friend for Free’ entitlements are not valid while the Park is operating at reduced capacity.

 

MULTI VISIT PASS

Valid Multi Visit Pass Holders are required to book their visits to a specific session at the Luna Park Sydney website, to be able to use their Multi Visit Pass card to access a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. Multi Visit Pass holders will be required to use their member number (found under the barcode on their Multi Visit Pass card) to book their session time, after which they will receive a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. To enter the park, Multi Visit Pass holders will be required to present their Session ticket and their valid Multi Visit Pass card. Guests who have lost, misplaced or forgotten their Multi Pass card on the day of their visit, will be required to have their card reprinted before entering the park, which will incur a $10 reprinting fee.

Multi Visit Pass holders are entitled to use one of their remaining visits on their Multi Visit Pass card per day. Only the Multi Visit Pass holder will be able to use the Session ticket associated with their Multi Visit Pass to enter the park.

Session tickets are non-transferrable. By using a Multi Visit Pass to book a Session ticket, this will redeem one visit on the pass, regardless of whether the Single Session ticket is then used.

Guest who hold unredeemed Multi Visit Pass online tickets, are required to have their Multi Visit Pass card created on site at the Luna Park Sydney Membership Desk before booking a Session ticket online. All Multi Visit Pass holders must be present at the time of creation.

All guests entering Luna Park Sydney must comply with the Session ticket Terms and Conditions, good social distancing from others & Luna Park Sydney Conditions of Entry and the Luna Park Sydney Health Declaration.

Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the Multi Visit Pass associated with the Session ticket not be valid.

Multi Visit Pass Session tickets presented by anyone other than the Multi Visit Pass holder, may result in the Multi Visit Pass being cancelled.

 

PRE-EXISTING ONLINE TICKETS

Guests who hold unredeemed pre-existing online Unlimited Rides Passes are required to book their visit to a specific session on the Luna Park Sydney Buy Tickets Page. Pre Existing Unlimited Rides Pass holders are required to use their online ticket barcode number (15-digit number found under the barcode on the online ticket) to book their session time, after which they will receive a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket.

To enter the park, online Unlimited Rides Pass holders will be required to present both tickets at entry (both their Session ticket and their valid online Unlimited Rides Pass ticket.) By using an Unlimited Rides Pass to book a Session ticket, this will redeem the Unlimited Rides Pass, regardless of whether the Session ticket is then redeemed. Any additional Pre Existing Online Ticket entitlements will be dispensed at entry.

Guests who hold an unredeemed Black Friday Family Deal online ticket are entitled to use the online ticket barcode to redeem the remaining amount visits. If guests choose to use their Black Friday Family Deal for a Session ticket, they must redeem all remaining visits in the same transaction. 

All guests entering Luna Park Sydney must comply with the Session ticket Terms and Conditions, good social distancing from others & Luna Park Sydney Conditions of Entry and the Luna Park Sydney Health Declaration.

Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the online Unlimited Rides Pass associated with the Session ticket not be valid.

If guests choose to redeem their pre-purchased Unlimited Rides Passes for a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket, they will not receive the Session tickets vouchers and forfeit any difference in additional credit from the Session ticket price to the Unlimited Rides Pass price.

Rezdy, VIE, Captain Cook, Tourism 4 Rides, Luna Magic Pass Complimentary/ Vouchered Unlimited Rides Passes and other third-party tickets not mentioned above are not currently valid for Session tickets. 

 

COMPANION CARDS

The NSW Companion Card program is valid for Session tickets. NSW Companion card holders are required to call the Box Office during hours of operation on 02 90337600 to secure both their session ticket and their Companion Card Ticket. Please have your Companion Card present when you book over the phone. Companion Card holders and their carers must enter the park together. The NSW Companion card must be presented upon entry for the carer to be granted access to the park without paying the Session ticket entry fee.

 

BROOKFIELD STAFF DISCOUNT VOUCHERS

Brookfield Employees that hold who hold unredeemed Brookfield Employee Discount Vouchers tickets are required to book their visit to a specific session at Luna Park Sydney website, to be able to use their Voucher Barcode to access a Brookfield Session ticket. Online Groupon ticket holders are required to use their ticket Groupon code barcode number (15-digit number found on the right of the online ticket) to book their session time, after which they will receive a Brookfield Discounted Single Session ticket (up to 4 per voucher in a single transaction only) . To enter the park, both the Ticket and Discount Voucher must be presented at entry (Session ticket and valid Brookfield Staff Discount Voucher)

Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the associated Brookfield Staff Discount Voucher with the Session ticket not be valid or presented at entry.

 

NAB STAFF CLUB VOUCHERS

NAB Employees that hold who hold unredeemed NAB Staff Club Vouchers are required to book their visit to a specific session at Luna Park Sydney website, to be able to use their Voucher Barcode to access a NAB Staff Club Session ticket. NAB Staff Club Voucher holders are required to use their Voucher barcode number (15-digit number found on the right of the online ticket) to book their session time, after which they will receive a NAB Staff Club Single Session ticket (Each barcode must be processed singularly) .To enter the park, both the Ticket and Voucher must be presented at entry (Session ticket and valid NAB Staff Club Voucher)

Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the associated NAB Staff Club Voucher with the Session ticket not be valid or presented at entry.

 

TICKET MATES (EXPERIENCE OZ & NRMA ) TICKETS

Guests who hold unredeemed pre-purchased online Ticket Mates Ticket (Experience Oz & NRMA) are required to book their visit to a specific session at Luna Park Sydney website, to be able to use their online Ticket Mates ticket to access a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. Online Ticket Mates ticket holders are required to use their Ticket Mates barcode number (15-digit number found on the right of the online ticket) to book their session time, after which they will receive a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. To enter the park, both tickets must be presented at entry (Session ticket and valid online Ticket Mates ticket.) Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the associated Ticket Mates (Experience Oz & NRMA) ticket with the Session ticket not be valid or presented at entry.

 

NEAT IDEAS TICKETS

Guests who hold unredeemed pre-purchased online Neat Ideas Tickets are required to book their visit to a specific session at Luna Park Sydney website, to be able to use their online Neat Ideas ticket to access a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. Online Neat Ideas  ticket holders are required to use their Neat Ideas ticket  barcode number (15-digit number found on the right of the online ticket) to book their session time, after which they will receive a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. To enter the park, both tickets must be presented at entry (Session ticket and valid online  Neat Ideas ticket.) Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the associated  Neat Ideas ticket with the Session ticket not be valid or presented at entry.

 

GROUPON TICKETS

Guests who hold unredeemed pre-purchased online Groupon tickets are required to book their visit to a specific session at Luna Park Sydney website, to be able to use their online Groupon ticket to access a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. Online Groupon ticket holders are required to use their ticket Groupon code barcode number (15-digit number found on the right of the online ticket) to book their session time, after which they will receive a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket. To enter the park, both tickets must be presented at entry (Session ticket and valid online Groupon ticket.) The games voucher entitlement will be dispensed at entry.

All guests entering Luna Park Sydney must comply with the Session ticket Terms and Conditions, good social distancing from others & Luna Park Sydney Conditions of Entry and the Luna Park Sydney Health Declaration.

Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the online Groupon ticket associated with the Session ticket not be valid.  Groupon Tickets will not be accepted for redemption or for session dates after 20 December 2020

If guests choose to redeem their pre-purchased Groupon ticket for a Luna Park Sydney Session ticket, they will not receive the Session tickets vouchers and forfeit any difference in additional credit from the Session ticket price to the Groupon ticket price.

 

COCA-COLA UNLIMITED RIDES PASS VOUCHERS

Coca-Cola employees who hold unredeemed Coca-Cola Unlimited Rides Pass Vouchers are required to book their visit for a specific session on the Luna Park Sydney website, to be able to use their voucher barcode to access a Pre Existing Unlimited Rides Pass Session ticket. Coca-Cola Unlimited Rides Pass Voucher holders are required to use their voucher barcode number (15-digit number found under the barcode) to book their session time, after which they will receive a Single Session ticket to enter the park. Both the ticket and Discount Voucher must be presented at entry (Session ticket and valid Coca-Cola Unlimited Rides Pass Voucher).

Ticket holders will be required to pay the Session ticket entry fee should the associated Voucher with the Session ticket not be valid or presented at entry.

 

GIFT CARDS

Guests who hold valid $50 or $100 Luna Park Sydney Gift Cards are required to call the Box Office during hours of operation on 02 90337600 to  make their purchase . Partial payment of Gift Cards and other payment methods will not be accepted for Session ticket purchases. The value of the Gift Card must cover the entire cost of the Session ticket.

DISCLAIMER

Voluntary participation and recreational nature of activity

1. I acknowledge, agree and understand my activities at, and my use of, Luna Park Sydney for my own enjoyment and leisure and is entirely recreational.

Risk Warning pursuant to section 5M of the Civil Liability Act

2. I acknowledge, agree and understand that:

  1. I have been warned that I am at risk of suffering personal injury arising from or in connection with my activities at, and my use of, Luna Park Sydney. The risk of personal injury extends to physical or mental injury (including aggravation, acceleration or recurrence of any physical or mental injury) including but not limited to friction burns, whiplash, abrasions, bruising, damage to teeth, muscular injury, motion sickness, splinters, loss of consciousness, and broken bones together with soft tissue injuries generally.

b. The risk of personal injury that I may suffer may arise from or be connected to:

  1. contact or collision with the surface of the ride;
  2. contact or collision with another patron;
  3. The movement of the ride (sudden or otherwise);
  4. weather conditions including rain, wind, lightning, heat and cold;
  5. slipping and tripping on floor surfaces;
  6. the acts and/or omissions (including negligent acts and/or omissions) of other patrons at Luna Park Sydney;
  7. incorrect use of rides;
  8. failure to follow instructions in relation to participation on a ride; and
  9. the unforeseen failure or malfunction of rides.

3. I accept and acknowledge all of risks identified above voluntarily and at my own risk.

4. I acknowledge that the assumption of risk and warning above constitutes a ‘risk warning’ in respect of all rides and activities at Luna Park Sydney for the purpose of section 5M of the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW).

Use of any ride or amusement is restricted for Guests with certain physical and/or medical conditions. Please check the signage at the entrance to each ride for applicable restrictions.

Waiver

General waiver

5. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to waive all my rights in respect of any liability for any Claim against Luna Park, including for any liability:

  1. for breach of contract (including any express or implied warranty that any recreational services will be provided with due care and skill); or
  2. for negligence; arising from, or in connection with, my attendance at and use of Luna Park Sydney.

Waiver in relation to recreational services to which the Australian Consumer Law applies

6. I acknowledge that:

  1. it is possible for a supplier of recreational services to ask me to agree that the statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (which is Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 Cth), do not apply to me;
  2. I agree to waive my right to sue Luna Park Sydney (should either be deemed a supplier for the purposes of the ACL) because the recreational services (as that term is defined in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) were not performed in accordance with the statutory guarantees, in particular the guarantees as to due care and skill and as to fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded; and
  3. the waiver of my rights in clause 9(b) above is limited to liability for:
    1. physical or mental injury (including the aggravation, acceleration, or recurrence of such injury) to me;
    2. the coming into existence, the aggravation, acceleration or recurrence of any other condition, circumstance, occurrence, activity, form of behaviour, course of conduct or state of affairs:
      1. that is or may be harmful or disadvantageous to me; or
      2. that may result in harm or disadvantage to me.

7. The above waiver of my rights in relation to the statutory guarantees does not apply to reckless conduct (as defined in the ACL) of Luna Park Sydney in supplying any recreational services (in the event either is deemed to be a supplier).

Release and Indemnity 

8. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I:

  1. release and will release Luna Park Sydney from all Claims that I may have or may have had but for this release arising from or in connection with my use of Luna Park Sydney;
  2. indemnify and will keep indemnified Luna Park Sydney in respect of any Claim by any other person:
    1. arising from or in connection with my participation in any activities at, or use of, Luna Park Sydney;
    2. against Luna Park Sydney in respect of any injury loss or damage arising out of or in connection with my failure to comply with any rules and/or directions from Luna Park Sydney regarding use of Luna Park Sydney’s facilities and attractions.

Save that the above releases and indemnities shall not apply to the extent that the loss, damage or injury that is the subject of the Claim is caused or contributed to by the grossly negligent act or omission of Luna Park Sydney.

 

 

COMMUNICATION

  1. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information otherwise provided in connection with the promotion is governed by the Luna Park Sydney Privacy Policy available at lunaparksydney.com/privacy-policy.
  2. The information provided by guests will be used by Luna Park Sydney for the purpose of contact tracing, should it be necessary.

 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. Luna Park Sydney is a Licensed Premises and as such anyone entering are bound by the requirements of the Liquor Act 2007.
  2. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
  3. Professional, commercial, staged or organised photography or video recording is not permitted without prior authorisation.
  4. Tripods, lighting, other standalone ancillary photography or video equipment is not permitted.
  5. Any type of activity or item that may impact on other Guests safety or enjoyment of the Park is not permitted.
  6. The Park and surrounding areas are under 24-hour CCTV surveillance.
  7. Intoxicated persons will not be permitted entry.
  8. Liquor may not be brought onto or taken off the premises, and checking procedures may be applied to prevent this.
  9. It is an offence to purchase liquor for (or supply liquor to) minors.
  10. Guests who are intoxicated, argumentative, quarrelsome, aggressive or disorderly will be removed from the Premises.
  11. Bags larger than an A4 piece of paper will not be permitted, waist/bum bags are recommended. Any personal items must stay with the owner at all times and not be left unattended. There will not be any lockers or cloaking facilities available throughout the park. Prams are discouraged.
