Entry into Luna Park Sydney is free! If you are a thrill-seeker and want to go on the rides there is a range of tickets available to purchase depending on how tall you are and how much fun you want to have.

No worries, your ticket is not linked to a specific date. Daily tickets and annual passes are valid for 180 days from the purchase date displayed on the ticket.

When the weather turns a little funny it can be a bonus, ride queues tend to shrink in the rain! Typically all attractions will continue to operate during wet weather, however, during periods of high winds or lightning, the operation of some rides may be temporarily suspended. Luna Park Sydney also offers plenty of indoor rides and activities like Coney Island if you need to stay dry.

During the rare occasion of adverse weather conditions, the Park may close to ensure guest safety. Please view the Park Map for up to date ride information.

TICKETING

Your PDF/ barcoded E-Tickets must be presented at the Ticket Box for redemption. These can be printed or displayed on an electronic device such as mobile.

The Luna Park Website and its affiliates are the only authorised points of sale for Luna Park Sydney ticketing, Annual Pass and Gift Card products. Facebook, Gumtree, WeChat etc. are not authorised points of sale. Tickets purchased from these platforms are not valid for redemption.

Ride restrictions are in place and strictly applied to ensure your safety. If you do not meet the height and admission requirements for an attraction, we will not permit you to ride. Find out more about rides and ride height restrictions on the Rides page.

Please note that as footwear is required to ride, your height will be measured with shoes on.

Yes they are able to go on The Carousel in a carriage, the U Drive and the Ferris Wheel free of charge with a paying adult (18+).

All ticket changes can easily be made when you arrive at Luna Park Sydney. If you have purchased a ticket that is too short for your height, the ticket staff will be able to amend the ticket and you can simply pay the difference there and then. If you have purchased a ticket that is too tall for your height, the ticket staff can give you credit to spend in the park for the difference!

Each person wishing to go on a ride must purchase a ticket, wristbands cannot be shared. Accompanying Adult Tickets are available for purchase in the Park if you wish to take your children on rides.

Yes - it is called Kid Swap. Kid Swap is available for Accompanying Adult guests who have more than one child to look after. When there are not enough seats for three people Kid Swap allows you to accompany each child on consecutive ride cycles without needing to line up twice. You can Kid Swap at Dodgem City, the Tumble Bug, Wild Mouse and the Spider.

Rides passes and tickets are categorised and sold according to height (measured with shoes on).

Luna Park will only sell you a ticket consistent with your height.

A carer accompanying a guest with a disability for the sole purpose of assisting that person will be provided with a Rides Pass free of charge upon presentation of a valid NSW Companion Card. Please enquire at Guest Relations, located opposite the Ferris Wheel.

Of course! Luna Park Sydney offers Gift Cards with varying values. Each gift card is valid for 3 years from date of purchase and can be purchased online or in the Park at the Merchandise Shop. Online purchases can be delivered to your door for a small fee or picked up at the Luna Park Sydney Merchandise Shop.

Your gift card will be awaiting collection at the Luna Park Sydney Merchandise Shop (right next to the Front Ticket Box) under the name indicated under Delivery Information. The billing or any other name indicated will not be displayed. However, please bear in mind the collector must present a valid photo ID and also the purchasing credit card in order to pick up the Gift Card(s).

GROUPS AND PARTIES

Group bookings are available for groups of 40+ and must be booked prior to arrival at Luna Park. Please contact the Group Sales Department sales@lunaparksydney.com if you would like to make a booking.

Luna Park Sydney does not sell family passes. For groups over 40+ there is a group booking option which must be booked with the Group Sales Department sales@lunaparksydney.com prior to arrival.

OTHER

Footwear must be worn on all rides and attractions, except for the Joy Wheel. Some attractions inside Coney Island also require enclosed footwear. Luna Park Sydney advises guests to wear comfortable, enclosed shoes when visiting so that you can make the most of your visit.

Guest safety is number one at Luna Park Sydney and each of the rides and attractions has its own admission requirements. Further information can be found at the entrance to each ride, in addition, please note:

  • A shirt of some form of upper-body covering must be worn on all rides and attractions.
  • Your height will be measured with shoes on
  • All rides and attractions require footwear and some Coney Island attractions require enclosed shoes

Some of the rides have particular safety requirements which limit their use by people with some disabilities. Please read the information at the entrance to each ride for further information in relation to specific disabilities.

Photography and filming at Luna Park within public areas for personal, non-commercial use is permitted on days the Park is open.

There are a number of circumstances that do attract fees or are not permitted. These include commercial photography and/or filming; staged photo/film shoots; including wedding parties who have not obtained authorisation to photograph or film inside Luna Park; filming or photography whilst riding on the rides and attractions (excluding the Ferris Wheel); any filming or photography that impacts on other guests safety or enjoyment of the Park, or the operational requirements of the Park; tripods, lighting or other standalone ancillary equipment. If you would like to gain permission to photograph and/or film at Luna Park please submit an enquiry via the Contact Us.

Yes you can! There is a bunch of picnic areas both within and near Luna Park Sydney. Just ask the friendly staff when you visit where the best place is on the day and please respect the environment by taking your rubbish with you.
