Ice Rink

Sessions will last for 30 minutes with 15 minute intervals in-between each session. Skaters can enter or exit the ice at any time, subject to capacity and skate availability. Closures to maintain the Ice Rink will vary depending on weather and the amount of use.

Nope! Skating sessions will be open to anyone who wants to skate at the time, subject to capacity.

The Ice Rink can accommodate 100 people at a time, subject to skate size availability. The ice marshalls will monitor sessions during peak periods to ensure Guests can make the most out of their session.

The outdoor Ice Rink will be open every day from 5 July to 22 July, inclusive. The final skating session each day will begin one hour before the Park closes.

Yes! Ice-skaters will be treated to two snowfalls during each ice-skating session (30-minute session). There is no better place to skate under the snow!

Absolutely! Luna Park Sydney's Winterfest is FREE to explore, however if you would like to skate, you will need to present a valid Rides Day Pass or Annual Pass. Skating is included for FREE in your Unlimited Rides or Annual Pass. Guests can also use one of their Two Ride Pass admissions to access the Ice Rink.

Unlimited Rides Passes and Annual Passes are available for purchase at any Luna Park Ticket Box or buy online in advance to use during Winterfest and save HERE. Two Ride Passes are available for purchase on the day from Luna Park Sydney Ticket boxes only. 

The minimum height to skate is 85cm. Children under 130cm must be accompanied by an adult with a valid Rides Pass at all times on the Ice Rink. 

Yes! There are a number of kangaroo skate aids available for use for younger skaters. Skate aids are FREE to use and subject to availability; just grab one that is free while on the ice!

Each Luna Park Sydney ride or attraction carries its own height requirements. To view which rides you will be able to access, see a copy of the Park Map available from any Ticket Box or view the Park Map online HERE.

The rink can operate in both light and heavy rain, so skaters can skate in rain or shine! Ponchos will be available for purchase if you wish to be a little more protected as you skate.

The Ice Rink may close temporarily during adverse weather conditions. Please check with the Reception or Guest Relations team on the day of your visit by calling (02) 9922 6644.

Yes. All Annual Pass holders are welcome to skate on the rink for free as a part of their Annual Pass benefits.
