Ron and Maureen celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by visiting the place where they met as teenagers and fell in love – right here in the midway at Luna Park Sydney!
We spoke to them about their love of Luna Park and how the Park has changed over time. They loved all the new rides and advancements the park has made over time, pointing out how much more there is than when they first visited. They especially enjoyed the gelato we sell here at the park!
They also gave us insight into the ways the Park has remained true to itself and retained its original charm. They are pleased that they can still see the original Coney Island artwork, play the same Crazy Crooners game, and go on Maureen’s all-time favourite ride – the Rotor.
Here at Luna Park Sydney we aim to be a destination of fun for everyone and are always improving to keep the Park fresh (like the addition of our 9 new rides!), but we never forget our rich history dating back to the 1930’s which has played a huge role in shaping the Park into what it is today.
