Ticket Information
Is Cash accepted at Luna Park Sydney?
Luna Park Sydney is predominately cashless and encourages cashless payments at all outlets. This includes but is not limited to the front ticket box, retail store, food and beverage outlets and games. MINOR provisions for cash are made at the Front Ticket Box and Retail Store ONLY. This allows for Tickets and Park credit to be purchased with cash, with Park credits then being accepted as a valid payment method at all outlets. Unless otherwise advertised or noted, it is strongly recommended to organise cashless methods to transact at Luna Park Sydney. Kindly note that standard Park credit terms apply, where the credit must be used on the day of visit only and refunds for partial use are not offered.
Do I have to purchase a ticket if I am not planning on riding?
At this time, Luna Park Sydney is a free entry Park, however, everyone wishing to go on rides and access attractions (including adults accompanying children in the Red and/or Green height zones) must have a valid Day Pass ticket for the date of their visit.
Children under 85cm in height do not require a ticket to ride, however, they are only able to ride the carousel (chariot cars only) and the Ferris Wheel with an accompanying adult.
Do children require adults to accompany them on rides?
Yes, some children will require an accompanying adult who is over 18 and who holds a valid ticket to go with them on rides. Please visit our Rides page for information on which rides require an accompanying adult.

Can I purchase photos from my visit to Luna Park?

I booked the wrong day, can I change my date?
We appreciate mistakes happen, which is why we give Guests a 24-hour grace period* from the time of purchase to modify their Day Pass booking.
You must meet the following criteria to change your booking:
- You can only modify your booking date once
- It must be within 24 hours of your purchase time
- Your original visit date can not have passed
Please note:
*All booking modifications close by 6am the day before your nominated visit date, even when purchases are finalised within 24-hours of this visit date.
You will be charged the difference in price for your new date. If the new date is a lower price, there is no refund on the difference.
If you want more flexibility to change your dates multiple times, consider upgrading to a Flexi Pass instead. This can be achieved up to 6am the day before your booking.
This grace period does not apply to Twilight Passes and date cannot be changed for these tickets.
What if I am unable to attend my booked visit date?

Outside of the grace period, all sales are final. Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless the session is cancelled by Luna Park Sydney.
We offer Flexi Passes which allow you to book your visit with the flexibility to change it to another day. This pass is valid for ONE visit within 180 days from the date of purchase. If you have not initially booked your ticket as a flexi-pass and you which to upgrade your existing (unused) day pass, you can.
If you wish to change your booking date prior to the day before your visit, you are able to upgrade your Day Pass ticket to a Flexi pass. In order to upgrade, log in to your account and select ‘Upgrade to Flexi Pass’ in your ‘My Tickets’ section. This must be completed by the account holder by 6am the day before their nominated visit.
Sales on Twilight Passes are final and do not include a grace period to modify the date.
Companion Card: I am a carer and will be accompanying a guest with a disability, do I need to purchase a ticket?
A carer accompanying a Guest with a disability for the sole purpose of assisting that person will be provided with a Rides Pass free of charge via email. Companion card holders must show a valid Australian Companion Card to gain entry to the Park.

Can I use my Gift Card to purchase tickets?
Gift Card holders are able to use their cards as a payment option for any product online, and in the Park for purchases such as food, drinks, games, and merchandise. To use your gift card online, enter your Gift Card barcode at checkout.

Gift Cards purchased in 2021 or prior
Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash, reloaded or refunded and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Any gift card value unused after the expiry date will not be refunded. The gift card remains the property of the issuer. You must keep your gift card secure and treat it as you would cash.
How can I get to Luna Park Sydney?
Luna Park Sydney is located at 1 Olympic Drive, Milsons Point Sydney and there are a number of ways to get there. Our car park is open to all Guests and has 389 secure spaces. Entry to the car park is via Dind Street, turning left onto Northcliff Street, Milsons Point.

Why haven't I recieved my tickets?
If you are purchasing tickets within 48 hours of your visit date, you will receive the tickets within 10 minutes of your order. If it is greater than 48 hours, you will receive your tickets the morning before you selected visit date.
I'm having trouble purchasing tickets on Internet Explorer.
We strongly recommend switching to a different web browser if you are currently using Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is an outdated browser that lacks support for many modern web technologies. As a result, you may experience issues with website functionality, performance, and security.
There are several alternative web browsers available that offer better compatibility and performance. We suggest using browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Safari on Mac. These browsers are regularly updated and optimised to provide an enhanced browsing experience. Simply head to the browser web page and click download.
I understand that there are different height requirements for different rides at Luna Park. What ticket do I need for different heights?
If you would like to utilise the rides at Luna Park Sydney, you will need to purchase an unlimited rides pass. This can be in the form of a day pass, a flexi pass or even an Annual Pass. You do not need to purchase a specific ticket type for varying ride height access at the time of purchase.
When you arrive at Luna Park, your valid ticket will be exchanged for a wrist band that will enable the wearer to access rides within their applicable height requirement. Guests will be measured prior to wristband issue, at rides and spot checked throughout your visit.
- Red: 85 – 106cm
- Green: 106-132cm
- Yellow: 132cm+
Can I bring food to Luna Park Sydney?
Yes, while we have some incredible food outlets here at Luna Park Sydney, if you chose to bring external food into the Park you are welcome to. However, external food can not be consumed at seating areas dedicated for Luna Park outlets. Only food purchased in the Park can be consumed at dedicated outlets and/or seating spaces.
External food can be consumed at;
Tables and chairs located outside the Big Top
Lavender Green – our dedicated and picturesque harbourside picnic area, located past Luna Land {LINK MAP}
Please note, while picnics in the appropriate areas are encouraged, cooking food (with or without power) is not allowed at Luna Park, and Guests who elect to do so will be asked to cease and/or leave the Park. Management discretion applies and decisions made by management and/or security are final.
Please note, commercial food is not able to be ordered to or consumed within the Park. This is including but not limited to delivery services and take away foods from other outlets. Management discretion applies and decisions made by management and/or security are final.
Does filming take place at Luna Park Sydney?
The Park is occasionally used as a filming location. By attending Luna Park Sydney, you are entering a premise where photography, audio and video recording may occur.
Upon entry, you are agreeing to Luna Park Sydney using any film or photography taken during your visit for any promotion, advertising or marketing in any form or style determined or approved by Luna Park Sydney in its absolute discretion without the need to obtain any further permissions. By entering the premises, you waive all rights you have to any claims for payment or royalties. Management discretion will be used to ensure that permission is sought for minors, or in instances where individuals can be clearly identified in imagese or videos that will be used ongoing.

Can I bring my own tripod for personal photography in the Park?
Tripods are welcome for personal use in Luna Park. Please note:
- Tripods must not obstruct walkways or thoroughfares, and are not welcome in ride areas
- Tripods can not impede the access or experience of other Guests in the Park
- Tripods deemed a trip hazard or risk may be asked to move or use be ceased. Management discretion applies and negotiations will not be entered into
- Tripods will not be stored or cloaked by Luna Park, and are the responsibility of their owner at all times
- Tripods cannot be set up where they are obstructing any fire-fighting equipment or emergency exits
- Tripods cannot be left unaccompanied and photographer must stay with the tripod at all times
- Tripods must be packed down in order to be moved through the Park
How long is my Games Pass valid for?
If you purchased in-Park: Your Games Pass is only valid on the day of purchase. Play all the games on the pass to unlock all the fun you can, because any remaining games unfortunately cannot be redeemed at a later visit. Games Passes are not subject to date extensions, subject to refunds or exchanges within the extent of the law.
If you pre-purchased online: Your Games Pass is valid for up to 180 days from the date of purchase! Purchase Games Passes as an add on in an online transaction and they will be kept safe in your auto-created account for 180 days from your visit date. Games Passes can be conveniently presented from your smart device for scanning. Game passes can be used on any visit before their expiration - this is one of the awesome benefits of purchasing online! Games Passes are not subject to date extensions, subject to refunds or exchanges within the extent of the law.
Day Passes
What is a Day Pass?
A Luna Park Sydney Day Pass entitles the holder to unlimited rides for their height zone, on the date indicated on their ticket, during Park operating hours.
I'm not riding do I need to purchase a Day Pass?
No - however, everyone wishing to go on rides and access attractions (including adults accompanying children in the Red and/or Green height zones) must have a valid Day Pass ticket for the date of their visit.
Why do I need to choose a day?
Luna Park now requires Guests to select the day they are coming in order to avoid overcrowding and ensure a positive experience for everyone in the Park.
Can I come to the Park to purchase a Day pass?
Tickets for Luna Park can be purchased in the Park. Purchasing on the day of visiting results in higher prices. Purchasing online in advance secures the best price.
Why are the day prices different on different days?
With our new Daily and Flexi passes you can now get more choice and more savings at times that suit you. Pass pricing will be dynamically updated dependent on current sales and activities in the park.

Can I use my Gift Card to purchase a Day Pass?
Yes you can make Gift Card purchases online when purchasing tickets.
What do I need to bring on my visit day?
On entry to Luna Park Sydney and validation of a Day Pass Ticket, you will need to show your ticket at the Ticket Booth (printed or on your phone), a unique wristband will then be issued that is non-refundable, not transferable between individuals, valid for the Date of Issue only and void if not securely attached to the Guest's wrist at all times. The wristband is activated and issued from a Luna Park Ticket Box at the time of purchase/e-ticket redemption. We are a cashless venue. Card payments will be accepted at all outlets.
How do I purchase group bookings?

Annual Passes
What is an Annual Pass?
A Luna Park Sydney Annual Pass entitles the holder (a pass holder) to a single Day Pass, once per day, on any valid entry day for the period specified on the Annual Pass, from the date of activation. You can visit the Park during our opening hours (excluding special events or block out dates) as you please, during your valid Annual Pass tenure.
Pre-booking your attendance is optional, which you can do easily online. Please note that attendance applies to standard Luna Park operating hours. Special events and selected dates may be excluded from Annual Pass booking also.
If you’d like to use your Annual Pass directly to access our rides, you are welcome to do so provided your Annual Pass is activated and in date. For this feature to be used, you must have a clear and accurate photo of yourself printed on the reverse of your card. Should your photo ID be impaired or obstructed (eg. faded or scratched) please see our Annual Pass team at the Annual Pass Desk to seek a reprint. An Annual Pass can only be used at rides BY THE VALID HOLDER, and strictly can not transferred or shared. Luna Park Sydney has the ability to cancel a valid Annual Pass and seek removal of Guests should this feature be fraudulently used.
Alternatively, if you elect to use a wristband to access our rides, you can line up on arrival at the Annual Pass desk and have 1 wristband activated per valid Annual Pass. This is valid once daily, and the wristband will be applied to the Annual Pass owner ONLY.
An annual pass means I can receive 10% off merchandise. How?
As a valued Annual Pass holder of Luna Park Sydney, simply scan your Annual Pass card when making a purchase at our merchandise store. You will receive 10% off all items in store, including showbags! Please note the 10% discount excludes tickets, gift cards, photo purchases, annual passes, special event tickets and special events (including birthday party bookings). Please note that your Annual Pass must be valid and in date to activate this discount. If you don’t have your card, please see our membership desk and request a reprint.
As an annual pass holder I receive 10% off food and beverage purchases in the Park. How?
To receive 10% off food and beverage purchases at Luna Park Sydney, please scan your Annual Pass card when making a purchase at any of our permanent outlets. Don’t have a card? Missing out? Become an Annual Pass holder at our Annual Pass Desk, or visit them to seek a reprint of your existing card. Food and beverage purchases to which this discount applies includes food, hot and cold beverages purchased from permanent outlets and alcohol. Special events such as Harbour Party and Halloscream are excluded from this discount. Management discretion applies.
As an Annual Pass holders, do I need to book in a day prior to attendance?
No. As an Annual Pass holder, it’s not mandatory to book each visit to Luna Park Sydney. Simply come in with your Annual Pass card and use it to tap on when going on rides. Alternatively, you can also drop by at the Annual Pass membership desk upon arrival to get a wristband for the day. However, in peak periods and school holidays it’s recommended to book your visit online in advance to secure your place on the desired date.

You should have received an email asking you to set up a password for your account or alternatively just click ‘I forgot’ and set a new password using the email address you’re receiving this email on. - Click the ‘My Account’ tab.
- Click the ‘Bookings’ tab.
- Scroll down to ‘Create a Booking’ and select a date (and session, if applicable).
- Select the member(s) that will be attending and click ‘Select Booking’.
- Your booking is complete! A digital ticket will be sent to your email the day before your visit.
Note: You can only book one session at a time, and only up to one month in advance. As soon as you leave the Park, feel free to pre-book your next session. You can cancel or amend your booking date up to 6AM the day before your booking.

As an Annual Pass holder, why do I need to create an account?
When you purchase an Annual Pass a customer’s account is automatically created for you. This is required so that you can manage any Annual Passes you purchased within your account. This includes updating your details, uploading your photo, expiry dates and renewals.
Member accounts are created for every Annual Pass purchase and are registered within your customer account, including your own member account if you purchase an Annual Pass for yourself.
You can transfer ownership an Annual Pass member account to another customer if you choose, for instance if you purchased the ticket for a friend. Doing this means you will no longer be able to access that member.When does an Annual Pass subscription start?
Annual Passes have a start date that reflects a 60 days' grace period for your first visit to the Park in the spirit of gift giving, however, your Annual Pass is ready to use as soon as you purchase where the 12 month validity commences. You can visit the Park during opening hours and collect your Annual Pass card upon order confirmation.
Do I need to bring my Annual Pass when I visit?
A pass holder must have his/her valid Annual Pass in hand and an LPS approved photo on file with Luna Park Sydney for access to rides to be granted.
Annual Passes can be reprinted for you at no cost from the Annual Pass Counter upon request.
When will I get my Annual Pass?
You can pick your Annual Pass up from Luna Park Sydney Annual Pass box on your next visit
Can I use my Annual Pass for a special event such as Halloscream or NYE?
Annual Passes are not valid for private special events, specials, ticketed events or events that require a separate admission, and are subject to Blockout Dates. Blockout Dates include, but are not limited to events such as Halloscream, New Year’s Eve, and other special events that occur outside normal Park operating hours Annual Pass.
How many bookings can I make?
Annual Pass holders may reserve a maximum of one entry date at a time and can only have one entry date reserved in total. Once that entry date pass has been redeemed or the date passed, a pass holder may reserve a new entry date.
What if I need to change my booking date?
As an Annual Pass Holder, you are able to change your booking date prior to the booking from your account in the My Bookings section.
Can I sell my Annual Pass?
An Annual Pass is not transferable, cannot be sold, cannot be given to anyone else to use inclusive of family and friends, is not redeemable for cash and cannot be used with any other offer, discount or product. Additionally, Annual Passes may not be used for commercial purposes and are void if altered or misused. An Annual Pass can be passed onto friends and family before activation.
How do I renew my Annual Pass?
You can renew your Annual Pass for a special price of $120 up to two weeks after your original expiry date. Beyond two weeks, it will be treated as a new Annual Pass and the full price will be charged.
To do so, just login to your account and click renew on each Annual Pass you would like to renew. Or simply ask for a renewal in the Park.
Once you renew, you will need to get a new Annual Pass card on your next visit to Luna Park in order to update the card expiry date.
Can I purchase/renew online?
Yes, Annual Passes to Luna Park Sydney can be purchased and renewed online.
Flexi Passes
What happens if it rains?
The Park will continue to operate during wet weather, however during periods of high winds, lightning, or torrential rain, the operation of some rides may be suspended. Refunds or exchanges will not be granted if the Park is open on the day of your booking. As the majority of the experience is outdoors, we do suggest you bring rain jackets with you.
What is a Flexi Pass?
A Luna Park Sydney Flexi Pass entitles the holder to make an online booking in the next 180 days for their chosen session at Luna Park Sydney, whilst allowing them the flexibility to change the date of your visit.
Can I send my Flexi Pass to someone else?
You can send your Luna Park Sydney Flexi Pass to someone else using the Transfer Ticket Ownership feature in your online customer account. Once you make a purchase, an account is created for you to access and manage your Flexi Pass tickets. Here you can Transfer Ticket Ownership to someone else. They will receive an email link to claim the ticket by creating an account. This link is active for 48 hours. If they do not claim the ticket, it will remain in your account.
How do I make a Flexi Pass booking?
Once you have purchased your Flexi Pass you will receive an email from Luna Park Sydney prompting you to make a booking for your selected date. The link you receive will create a booking for all Flexi Passes in that order. If you want to change, cancel or create individual bookings, you will have to create and log in to your Luna Park Sydney account.
How can I change my existing Flexi Pass booking?
You will have to create and log in to your Luna Park Sydney account to manage your Flexi Pass tickets. From there you will click on the bookings tab and it will allow you to cancel or change your booking for a new date within the 180 days from your purchase.
Bookings can only be changed prior to 6am the day before your booking date. If you do not cancel prior to this time, and you do not come to the Park on your booked date, your Flexi Pass ticket is no longer valid.
What is a Send Request to Book?
Our Request to Book feature found alongside your Flexi Pass ticket in your account allows you to send a booking invitation to a friend or family member, who can create their own booking. When used, the requestor will receive an email with their tickets the day before the booking rather than you, the customer. Please note, when using this feature only the customer can change or cancel the booking.
If you want to give a Flexi Pass to someone else entirely, you can use the option Transfer Ticket Ownership.
What are the benefits of purchasing a Flexi Pass?
The benefits of the Luna Park Sydney Flexi pass are that you are able to change the date of your bookings within 180 days from purchase.
A Luna Park Sydney Flexi pass is only valid for one day (visit) within the 180 days from purchase.
