Luna Park Sydney will operate in accordance with the legal requirements as mandated by the NSW Government.

All patrons over the age of 16 must be double dose vaccinated for Covid-19 and provide proof on entry.

All children under 16 years of age are required to be accompanied into the Park by a double dosed, vaccinated adult (18+ years) who is in possession of a valid ticket unless they are double dose vaccinated themselves.

For those who have medical exemptions from receiving COVID19 vaccinations, Luna Park will accept the COVID-19 VACCINE MEDICAL CONTRAINDICATION form completed by your GP and will be required to be presented at the entry to the Park. Please ensure that you have the COVID-19 VACCINE MEDICAL CONTRAINDICATION on the day you visit the Park.

Luna Park Sydney has announced a $30 million upgrade of the park, which is one of Australia’s most loved and best-known destinations. The upgrade will involve the introduction of nine new and exciting rides. It is the most significant upgrade of Luna Park since the park reopened in 2004.

Nine exciting new rides will be introduced. The rides will include six new children’s rides; a thrill ride; a family coaster; and an anchor coaster – the return of The Big Dipper, which will be the first inline seating launch roller coaster in the world.

  • When will the Park reopen?

The amusement park closed on January 27, 2021. However, our functions, venues and events will continue as per normal. We expect to reopen that famous Luna Park face to the public again in mid-2021!

  • Do I have to purchase a ticket if I am not planning on riding?

Depending on current government restrictions, we may have to have to set a capacity limit on the number of guests that are in the Park at any one time. In that instance, all Guests who are 2 years of age and older OR 85 centimetres or over in height, as determined by Luna Park Sydney, will require a ticket for entry.

  • Can I use my Annual Pass, Multi Visit Pass or old Luna Park tickets as soon as the Park re-opens?

Only valid passes or tickets may be used for entry. All pre-purchased valid Annual Passes can be used, however you will still need to book a session date prior to your visit by logging into your Luna Park account and using your email address attributed to your membership.

Please be aware that these tickets are limited and there is an allocation for each day. You are also required to bring your valid Annual Pass with you to show on arrival.

If you have purchased a new Annual Pass, you will need to collect your pass at the Annual Pass counter on presentation of valid photo ID.

If you have lost your Annual Pass, a $10 reprint fee applies.

Annual Passes are only valid for one session per day.

Annual Pass Holders that were entitled to this benefit will be emailed coupon codes to book a Friend for Free Day Pass online at no charge.
